Facilitate a Bible study for women and mothers Becoming MomStrong concludes today (Feb 28) and it has been amazing. This group of women/moms meets every Wednesday and they to inspire and encourage me (and keep me accountable). We are starting a new study soon that’s exclusively for reading and comprehending Scripture. Great things are happening in Joshua, Texas!


Get to know our neighbors

Gather with girlfriends every quarter ( 1 2 3 4 ) February 9 ….. GALentine’s 2018 was a success for the Shenanigan Sisters, once again. We ate a delicious dinner at The Social House (West 7th Street; Fort Worth) before watching Fifty Shades Freed. This third movie was the best of the series, in my critical mind. The soundtrack was pretty good too.

It’s one of my favorite events to attend and we were fortunate to be selected as a simulcast location for the conference. Speakers were AMAZING!!!!!!

January: purchase a new pair of Sperry boat shoes (such as theseI didn’t buy the Sperry boat shoes but I found a pair of Born sandals on clearance at a boutique in Granbury. Born + Clearance = DEAL!!!

February: give up AND add something meaningful for Lent Failed. Since we were travelling to Louisville on Ash Wednesday, I missed our traditional worship service (including ashes on my forehead) and I haven’t added or eliminated anything for Lent.

March: Purchase a dimmable floor lamp and hang curtains in my office to camouflage the two storage closets. The fluorescent lighting is too bright and hurts my eyes.
