Every Monday, I publish whatever is on my mind -consider it a smorgasbord of thoughts and randomness- as a way to clear my head and prepare for the next week ahead. By doing so, I hope to calm the chaos and organize the scattered. Cheers to 2015 and blessings to you!
Can we press the “repeat” button for the weekend?!
Kamden and I dodged the rain to have a photo session with Becky. This woman is the peanut butter to my jelly and I love her to pieces. She even let me play with her new fancy-schmancy camera. And she took some AMAZING Mommy & Me photos of Mister Curls and I. Seriously, do we look like twins or what?! Our hair is out of control.
Kamden went to the zoo for the first time on Saturday, when the Mother’s Milk Bank of North Texas hosted donor appreciation day at the Fort Worth Zoo. He was impressed the first five minutes and then he was over it. We walked in front of tigers and he’d point to birds in the air. He could have seen a young giraffe but he was more interested in the squirrel on the sidewalk. Oh well, at least he saw the elephants!
Sunday was spent at church, on the couch for a Sabbath Siesta, and outside enjoying the great weather. We’ve had a ton of rain but Kamden doesn’t care.

Nana C just called and said she and Grandaddy E are coming to Texas next weekend. We better get busy cleaning and tidying up!
