another Q&A with Husband {the Valentine’s edition}

I’m joining other bloggers for this special Valentine’s link-up hosted by Melissa at The Life of a Not So Ordinary Wife. The instructions are simple: answer a set of questions, have your spouse answer them too, then provide all responses in a blog post. Easy-peasy!

How long have you been married?
Husband says …
almost 6 years.
I say … we’ll be married 6 years on March 31.

Where was your first date?
Husband says … Louisville, Kentucky.
I say … Ten years ago today (02-14-2003), we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse and watched the movie Hitch. He flew to Louisville, Kentucky to see me for the first time.

Where was your first kiss?
Husband says … a man doesn’t kiss and tell.
I say … Thursday, February 13, 2003 at the airport in Louisville, Kentucky. We were in my car in the parking garage right after he got off the airplane.

Who first said, “I love you”?
Husband says … she did.
I say … I did.

What were your wedding colors?
Husband says … I wore a dark suit and she wore white and the photographer a TON of pictures. I don’t like pictures.
I say … We had a small wedding with more than 500 family and friends to share our special day. I carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, my aunt carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, and all the table arrangements had calla lilies too.

What is her most commonly used phrase?
Husband says … HUSBAND!
I say … Husband

Who is her celebrity crush?
Husband says … why does she need a celebrity crush when she has me?
I say … Gerard Butler, Bradley Cooper, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Ben Roethlisberger.

If she was ordering drinks for both of you what would you each get?
Husband says … sweet tea or Dr. Pepper for me and sweet tea for her.
I say … sweet tea or Dr. Pepper for Husband, sweet tea only for me.

What is the best meal she has ever cooked you?
Husband says … I like everything she cooks for me, except those lime-y fajitas she made once. Yuck!
I say … if it involves meat and/or potatoes, the man will eat almost anything I prepare for him.

What is the worst meal she has ever cooked you?
Husband says … I’ve answered this question before, but she marinated fajita beef in lime juice and it was disgusting.
I say … The infamous lime fajitas. He took one bite, looked at me, and said, “I don’t like this.” I adjusted my fajita marinade and he loves it now!

What is the most-played song on her iPod?
Husband says … she doesn’t have an iPod but she’s always listening to country music on the radio in her car or turns to a country station on the TV when she’s home.
I say … I hate these questions that assume everybody has fancy-schmancy gadgets like iPods. I don’t have an iPod or iPad or iAnything. Geesh people – I have a flip phone and I don’t text either!

What would she say is your most annoying habit?
Husband says … tracking in mud, dirt, hay, or manure into the house
I say … Husband leaves the toilet seat ALL.THE.TIME.

What is the last thing she does before she goes to bed?

If you could throw out one item of her clothing what would it be?
Husband says … I don’t care about her clothes.
I say … He’ll probably say my sweat pants that are covered in paint.

What would you say is your favorite thing about her?
Husband says … her heart.
I say … I bet he says BOOBS!!!!!!!!!!

What’s her go-to drink at Starbucks?
Husband says … my wife does not drink coffee or like Starbucks
I say … ANOTHER ONE OF THESE ASSUMING QUESTIONS!!!!! Seriously people, not everybody drinks over-priced coffee.

What’s her blog’s name?!
Husband says … Three 31, I think.
I say … Three 31.

There you have it. Another Q&A session with Husband.
