{ if }

If my aunt had not shared her library of books many years ago, I would not have read The Organic God.

If I had not read The Organic God, I would not know Margaret Feinberg, a Christian author and professional speaker. Or her 6-foot-8-tall husband, Leif. (Who, by the way, is slouching WAY down in this picture so we could all by in the frame together!)

If I did not know Margaret Feinberg, I would not have been her guest at a women’s conference at Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler.

If I had not been at Marvin, I would have missed Jesus playing the guitar. (Actually, his name is Luke.)

If I had not attended this conference, I would have missed this moment with Margaret (holding her miniature poodle, Hershey) autographing books for conference participants.

If I had not been in Tyler, I would not have had lunch with a former classmate and friend from Kentucky. (Emily and her family live near Tyler, it was so wonderful to see her and meet her family!)

If I had left Tyler immediately after the event, I would have missed an afternoon with Margaret talking, sharing, and laughing

If I had gotten home early, I would have missed this sunset.

Are those colors amazing or what?!

Please visit Margaret’s website. She has written numerous books and offers DVD Bible studies too. Margaret is a talented author and lovely speaker. Her joy is contagious and I’m grateful to call her my friend.

    Isn’t it lovely how God gives us not what we want but what and who we need in our lives?

      Celeste, you’re absolutely correct! If you are looking for books to read (I know, time is a precious jewel), please let me know. I would love to share Margaret’s books with you. I also have her DVD studies.

    If you had missed photographing that beautiful sunset, I would have been very upset! I think we all have a lot of ‘ifs’ in our lives. Nice post Nicole!
